My nine year background with the Border companies began with our sales and marketing teams. In these positions, I have been fortunate to meet many outstanding people from contractors to suppliers, from industry associations and affiliation to the terrific people who choose to call Border home. The information learned from these sources continues to shape our products, services and company offerings. 

Prior to joining the Border organization, I held several positions within the manufacturing sector of the construction industry. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Lake Forest (IL) College.

Tom Leahy | Chief Operations Officer

Since 1997 I have served as the Chief Operating Officer of Border Construction Specialties. My responsibilities include facilities, assets, insurance, purchasing and the inside sales teams of 15 locations. 

I have over 21 years of broad-based industry experiences including sales, marketing, operations, human resources and purchasing disciplines while always having responsibility for bottom line profit. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Colorado State University in 1985.

Shane Dryanski | Chief Financial Officer

Joining the Border Team in August of 2008, I am the newest member to the executive management team. As CFO of Border Companies, I utilize my prior years of experience in finance to maintain the accounting components of our businesses.

I have an extensive background in the construction industry focusing on grading, paving and concrete contractors. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.  I am a CPA in the State of Arizona and an active member of the CFMA – Valley of Sun Chapter.
